Attacking Residents, An Orange Cat in Bogor was Arrested by the Fire Brigades

An orange-and-white patterned cat in Limusnunggal, Bogor Regency, West Java, was evacuated by firefighters on Saturday, June 1, 2024, because it tried to attack residents.

Member of Bogor Regency Fire Brigade Rescue Team 3, Nuriyadi, said that initially, a resident reported his unrest about the cat's presence.

"The homeowner felt uneasy because there was a cat on top of the house going back and forth and trying to attack the residents," said a member of Bogor Regency Fire Brigade Rescue Team 3, Nuriyadi, in his statement.

This is not the first time the cat wandered on the roof and tried to attack residents. Residents who felt uneasy then reported the incident to fire officials for further action. Officers received the report at around 11.00 WIB.

"The homeowner reported it to the fire brigade. Officers received the report at 11.00 WIB," he said.

Receiving reports from residents, Fire brigades immediately went to the scene. Nuriyadi said officers arrived at the location at around 12.30 WIB.

Upon arrival at the location, officers immediately took action. The evacuation was carried out for 3 hours. Finally, the cat was successfully evacuated and taken to a safer place.

"The evacuation was carried out for 3 hours, the cat was successfully evacuated from the roof of the house. Handling was carried out safely and smoothly," he concluded.
